Life in Antioch if you’re a human being: not so good.

Life in Antioch if you’re a seagull: EXCELLENT.

I was proud of these guys! I have to admit I’m having a hard time figuring out how to use this site though– it doesn’t take primitive HTML like LiveJournal, and I can’t quite place the images properly.

    LOL!

I think it works just fine for you?

I think you may underestimating your town? (sounds lovely, at least by name – and you have seaside and seagulls?? OMG!!)

Here, they put signs of ‘no cyclers’ – I just saw it today: a blue sign with bike and parent with kid, with a red line across both – such signs don’t even exist anywhere in the Universe!!
What are they trying to say – don’t have kids and don’t cycle??

    How eco is that??

You did read the previous entry, right? Including the link?

It’s not quite seaside, but it’s almost there. This is the, uh, Shatt al’Arab of California.

So many times people think it’s easier to just say NO. NO ANYTHING. Then you have no problems, right? It’s chilling and hilarious at the same time to have the bike and the people crossed out!

Here, the railroads run right along the river. All along the shore in recent years they have put up signs of NO TRESPASSING. Along the whole riverbank! Luckily, they’re totally ignored.
