purgatory here I come

September 15, 2011

Seriously, they stole the security cameras?

That’s just inspired.

I doubt if they’re targeting churches either– St. Ignatius is just in a bad location: too deserted at night. At Holy Rosary the cops probably drive by every three minutes. Downtown is great for shootings, but not so good for prolonged criminal endeavors.

Yes, I’m too lazy to write my own post. I was planning to do one on the crazy-roofed churches of the sixties, but I haven’t even gotten around to taking the pictures yet. Both before and after pictures are required.

That post will of course include Holy Rosary. No pictures of St. Ignatius though: the outside looks like a bomb shelter, and the inside looks like an oral surgeon’s waiting room. It’s better left unseen.

Ha, thanks. It’s a little irresistible to take that tone, but I have to admit there’s an undercurrent of uneasiness.
